The state of Georgia, a key battleground state that was won by former Vice President Joe Biden this election, certified its election results Friday. The certified outcome places Biden at 2.74m votes and Trump at 2.61m votes, giving Biden roughly a 13,000 point lead. Other key battleground states are expected to certify their results later this week. For instance, Michigan, another key state that Biden won by roughly 3 percent, will certify its results on Monday, and Pennsylvania, also decisively given to Biden, will also certify its results on Monday. Certification of results makes it very difficult for any legal challenges, though the incumbent President continuously vocalizes his doubts about the results. The official election, when the electors cast their ballots, is expected to take place on December 14th.
San Antonio has been selected as one of the six finalists for U.S. Space Command Headquarters, but air force leaders must still evaluate the city further. A final decision, according to, Sen. John Cornyn, will be made in January. The city’s mayor, Ron Nirenberg, told KSAT, “We have the largest presence of cyber and intelligence capabilities outside of the national capital region... we have a public-private military and civilian infrastructure that’s required, including medical and military support networks, housing, transportation and veteran services, as well as electric, water, gas and telecommunications that are all critically important.”
According to, CDC’s COVID Data Tracker, as of November 21, 2020, 12:32 PM, there are 11.65 million cases nationwide and 251k deaths. Currently, Texas leads with almost 1.3 million cases, while California follows with 1.03 million cases.
(WashingtonPost) Arthur Reingold, a professor of epidemiology at the School of Public Health at the University of California, reminds the public, "A vaccine won't be available immediately for everybody." It is critical to keep in mind that even with several promising vaccines, it is still essential to observe COVID-19 guidelines.
